Jewish Community Council of Victoria

A special audio story brought to you live from a milestone event in the Melbourne Jewish Community- the inaugural JCCV LGBTI Community Symposium in August this year.

Guest host Sophie Klein brings you stories from LGBTI health expert Dr Y. Gavriel Ansara and Director and CEO of the Jewish Museum of Australia Rebecca Forgasz.

The Jewish Community Council of Victoria is the roof body of the Victorian Jewry, Australia’s largest Jewish community. With sixty major communal organisations as its affiliates, the JCCV represents the mosaic of religious, political, cultural, welfare, educational and social associations operating in Victoria.

After a great deal of lobbying and advocacy work behind the scenes, the JCCV has now committed to addressing the needs of Jews of diverse sexual orientation and gender diversity.
